Through determination and a strong commitment to advancing his career, Omar enrolled in the WIOA Adult Program to pursue Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training at Howard College. With program support, he was able to focus fully on building the knowledge, hands-on skills, and industry-recognized credentials needed to enter the high-demand trucking industry.
On January 22, 2026, Omar proudly earned his CDL, marking a major milestone on his path toward self-sufficiency and long-term career stability.
Just two weeks later, Omar’s motivation and strong work ethic paid off when he secured full-time employment with Reece Albert. He is now applying the skills gained through his training and has successfully transitioned into a sustainable career in the transportation industry.
