Concho Valley Workforce Solutions raises awareness about high-demand jobs and the skills they require, helping middle and high school students prepare for their future careers. Our team collaborates with school districts, postsecondary training providers, employers, and community partners to enhance career exploration and work-based learning opportunities for students.
Our Career & Education Outreach Specialist serves all 23 school districts across the 13-county region, offering virtual and in-class presentations that provide career guidance, workforce insights, and preparation resources to students. Services include career exploration activities, resume writing assistance, interview preparation, and information on internships, job shadowing, and industry certifications. By working closely with educators and employers, the specialist helps students connect classroom learning to real-world career opportunities.
