Sara Rodriguez, a WIOA Out-of-School Youth participant, is gaining valuable work experience through a Work Experience (WEX) placement with Concho Valley Council of Governments (CVCOG). With strong performance, ongoing training, and supportive services, Sara is building skills, confidence, and momentum toward long-term employment.

San Angelo Workforce Solutions of The Concho Valley is proud to recognize Long Industries as the region's 2025 Local Employer of Excellence. LONG Industries, Inc., accepted the award at the Texas Workforce Commission's (TWC) 28th Annual Texas Workforce Conference held Dec. 3 - Dec. 5, 2025, in Corpus Christi.

Lizeth came to Workforce Solutions in August 2025 determined to build a better future for her family. Within weeks, she secured full-time work, added a second job with Infini Dreams Logistics. By November, her increased earnings allowed her to transition off TANF.

Shannon joined the WIOA Adult program to earn his CDL and build a stable career. With WIOA support, he completed CDL training in May 2025 and quickly secured full-time work as a driver with Reece Albert. His new career has strengthened his financial stability and allows him to support himself and his mother.
