San Angelo Workforce Solutions of The Concho Valley is proud to recognize Long Industries as the region's 2025 Local Employer of Excellence. LONG Industries, Inc., accepted the award at the Texas Workforce Commission's (TWC) 28th Annual Texas Workforce Conference held Dec. 3 - Dec. 5, 2025, in Corpus Christi.

Lizeth came to Workforce Solutions in August 2025 determined to build a better future for her family. Within weeks, she secured full-time work, added a second job with Infini Dreams Logistics. By November, her increased earnings allowed her to transition off TANF.

Shannon joined the WIOA Adult program to earn his CDL and build a stable career. With WIOA support, he completed CDL training in May 2025 and quickly secured full-time work as a driver with Reece Albert. His new career has strengthened his financial stability and allows him to support himself and his mother.

Justin joined the WIOA Adult program while living at a sober living facility, focused on creating a stable future for himself and his daughter. With WIOA support, he completed CDL training at Howard College and earned his license in May 2025. By June, he secured full-time work with the City of San Angelo, quickly putting his skills to use. Justin’s journey showcases resilience, dedication, and the impact of workforce support on personal and professional growth.
